Blood. Yes, we have that too.

The average male human body contains just over 5 liters of blood. Judging from how much of it squirts from the characters in Bulletstorm, you’d imagine they have at least three times as much.

So yeah, blood. Much like explosions, blood is also a case where an extreme exaggeration of what would actually happen in real life is often done, and even recommendable… after all, this is Bulletstorm, and we’re going for maximum visual impact here!

So when it comes to blood effects, we have a lot of them. Seriously… A LOT… of them.

Explosions? Yeah, we got those.

Most things do not explode. For example, you can shoot a car, but it won’t explode. Electronic equipment doesn’t blow up as well. But that’s “boring” real life. In game development we tend to go in the opposite direction, and that’s a good thing.
