One of my responsibilities during the development of Bulletstorm was managing the names for the Skillshots. Not to say that I came up with them all, because I didn’t. Everyone helped out and each idea was crazier than the next, but I hold great pride in one of the Skillshots I named – The MAN TOAST.

Allow me to present you Karolina Grochowska, a Producer, sitting across from where I am. As you may have noticed she is a human composed of XX chromosomes, or a “female,” as they are usually called. And that creates a temperature problem.
Most people have dreams. Sometimes those dreams are shooting people in their private parts. Sometimes these dreams are possible to realize. PCF is a place where our dreams come true.
It all started with one simple, but extremely funny idea: if you shoot a guy in the sack, he should meet his maker. From then on, it just got better… or worse depending on how you look at it.
Hello, my name is Alexander and I’m a Level Designer at People Can Fly. I’m a worried man. There is no other explanation. The other day I was routinely playing through one of my levels. All of a sudden I triggered a combat situation so fun that I immediately felt it warranted for a new Skillshot. I even thought of a name for it – “Blindfire” and it involves the player doing stuff while being blinded by an enemy. What follows is a recount of me trying to get it into the game.
Gah! People are running, sliding and damn well flying all over the office (free Red Bull here) in some kind of intensified super work mode to make Bulletstorm all that it can be before launch in February next year. Currently, we’re doing a “Polish pass” on the entire game (get it? Poland!). You’d think that the last thing one would need is more to do, but that’s exactly what we’re doing now.
