Remember that Bulletstorm “Bulletpoints” promo video with Cliff Bleszinski, where he goes “Grandpa always told me that I can do anything if I set my mind to it, so I made a game where you can blow up a man’s asshole”?
Yeah. That’s not ALL you can do that man’s bodypart.
The enemy is down, his rear end exposed. WHAT DO YOU DO???
So the idea came up of shooting a man in his rear end, effectively lighting it up on fire with a small flamethrower effect. Sadistic, satisfying, hilarious. All the ingredients of a good Bulletstorm feature. Bring out a nice fire texture, some quick lingering smoke, and it is done! Easy.
That is a LOT of methane buildup.
But then they had another idea.
There is a weapon in the game that fires a big drill bit. Do you see where this is going? I am approached with the following request: “Yeah, I know you usually do wind, water, explosions, fire, weapon effects and so on… but we are going to need an effect for when you drill an enemy’s butt.”
Where does one research for such a task? Where does one find inspiration? Let’s put it this way: my browser’s history for the following day was a shameful one.
This cannot end well.
In the end, a mixture of blood, some small chunks of meat and, uhh… “brownish” liquid were used. Mind you, I could have done a lot more… but we agreed that there are other (more important) things to do in the game besides seeing a big guy having his bottom drilled.
Move along, nothing to see here... just a big man getting his butt drilled.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I have a very fun job… even though talking about my proudest achievements when having a family dinner occasionally does tend to get a little awkward!

Ok this game is great with some glitches also on multiplayer there should be more game types on there i know theres anarchy but it gets boring after awhile so yeah hope they do fix that problem.
